From the village clusters of Odisha to boardrooms, coffee dates, and every ordinary day in between — Odrayan is more than a brand. It is a movement, for the women who want to feel comfortable, confident, and effortlessly stylish wherever the day takes them — carrying their roots with them as they walk their own Ayana.

India's handloom traditions, re-imagined as structured, contemporary silhouettes — beginning with Odisha's Sambalpuri and Kotpad weaves.

Odra — the historic soul of Odisha, where this journey begins. Ayana — the path forward, across every handloom tradition India holds. Odrayan takes the rhythm of the shuttle and carries it into the modern wardrobe: structured, considered, unmistakably today.

Six ways into the wardrobe

India's handloom, one weave at a time
Odrayan draws on handloom traditions from across India — and our first collection begins where the founder's roots run deepest: Odisha. Sambalpuri Ikat yarn is tie-dyed and resist-woven by hand before a single stitch is cut, the pattern planned into the thread itself. Kotpad, woven in Koraput, takes its earthy rust and black not from a dye vat but from aul tree bark and madder root.
Every fabric is sourced directly from weaver clusters in Odisha; stitching and tailoring happen in Delhi NCR, where structured garments — lined blazers, corseted bodices, precise seams — get the pattern-cutting and finishing a premium silhouette demands.
More on the WeaveSix yards. One weaver. Weeks of work.
One blazer. One corset. A silhouette built for now.
The saree and the six yards aren't going anywhere — Odrayan simply gives the same handloom a second silhouette: tops, blazers, corsets, and co-ords, comfortable enough for a coffee run, confident enough for the boardroom, and stylish enough for everywhere in between.
Arriving with the first drop
Full editorial imagery goes up the week of the September 18 launch.
